My Belief:
Middle School is such a vital time in a young student's life. It is where they learn how to become independent and self reliant young women and men. As our students increase academic achievement and grow to be responsible young adults, we are committed to help them reach their fullest potential. Encourage your child to take on more responsibilities each year. Check behind your child to make sure he/she is meeting your expectations. It is vital that our Carver Middle School parents, staff, and administrators work together to foster the success of our students.
Background and Experience:
My educational background includes a B.S. in Early Childhood Ed. from Georgia College and State University, a M.S. in Early Childhood Ed. from Brenau University, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I have been in education as a teacher and/or administrator since 1993. I taught upper elementary students as a classroom teacher and a reading and math intervention teacher. I have also worked as an instructional coach and administrator.

My Belief:
The middle school experience is a period of transition and growth, which fosters the continuous development of our students' intellectual, social, and emotional abilities. This vital middle school journey will prepare the students for the challenges and opportunities which they will encounter during their high school years.
Background and Education:
My educational background includes a B.A. in Political Science, a M.S. in Exceptional Education, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

My Belief:
The Middle School years are the preparatory timeline for the High School learning experience. The students have the opportunity to explore not only the main four Core courses (English, Math Science and Social Studies), but also Connection courses (Agricultural Sciences, Business, Technology, Performing Arts / Art and Physical Education). This pivotal period sets the foundation for not only academic success but emotional and social well-being as well.
Background and Education:
My educational background includes a B.A in History, (South Carolina State), a M.S. in Social Science and an Ed.S in Educational Leadership, (Jacksonville State University).
