Counseling Department
The mission of the counseling and guidance plan for Carver Middle has been developed to ensure that all students will benefit from a counseling and guidance program.
The guidance and counseling program supports the academic, personal/social and career development of students by providing strategies that will enable them to reach their educational potential and experience success in their school environment as well as their community and society.
The program consists of a variety of services and activities, including student recognition, individual and small group counseling, classroom guidance, parent and teacher consultation, information services, referral assistance to other programs and services in the community, and student testing information.
